Really petrifying accounts of jinns and the lives lead by the people in their company. A truly gripping book that you can and certainly will want to read it in one sitting but of course you'll be too frightened and exhilarated to do so. Based on true events this book and it's stories truly send chills down the spine. It'll make you lose your sleep because of the accuracy and description of the events taken place in other people's lives.
Without doubt these entities are living among us, breathing, watching us, but we aren't able to see them except for few of the people... It's the grace of Allah that he has been protecting many of us. Many of us have also encountered such entities in our life time, seen people living with such things, and also have heard many of the thousand tales of jinns, spirits and their existence.
And to write a story based on real events requires a special skill, and the way the author has penned it down, really shows how well it is written. The way in which she has described the surroundings, the little little parts of Pakistani culture and its specialities. How she has described the extraordinary in the ordinary lives of people is worth appraisal and appreciation. It was ironically a beautiful experience to read a book entirely surrounding the smells of sweets, fruits and the things related to your local country.
