Sometime in Summer by Katrina Leno
5.0
Katrina Leno is a master of storytelling. She knows how to write authentic characters, add the perfect balance of magic, and includes just enough clues to make the reader obsess over what's potentially going on.
This was a beautiful love letter to books while also being a story of growth that simultaneously explored different forms of love. The coastal Massachusetts setting was also super atmospheric and perfectly describes what a beachside summer feels like in New England.
I could honestly gush over this book all day. I truly adored every single page and found the entire reading experience to be utter perfection. (Ask my husband who knows every aspect of this story because I wouldn't shut up about it.)
