The thing with modern lesbian representation is that it’s really tidy. It’s clean and has no butches at all. No leaping on gender. I never felt like it belongs to me in any way. So I didn’t find it relatable but this… oh this. How are there words in the universe to describe it? Are there any? I will try.

It’s cheeky, it’s wild, it’s funny and full of life. I love the overdramatic announcements and the really campy type of rom com announcements. The over the top „dos and donts“ the appreciation of pickiness in partners. The political and feminist stuff. The dykes to watch out for with the alphabet but also the „psychological stereotyping“. The diversity. Everything. This is everything.
