A slow-paced mystery that packs all of the action into the final 50 pages. I’ve read other novels by Iles that I liked better than this one. Still Iles is a good storyteller and the main character, Jordan Glass, makes a competent narrator for the novel. A good mystery with a few flaws but recommended if you are looking for a dark mystery and FBI procedural.
