Eeeeee I love this question! Okay-
I saw the cover art for this book on the author’s instagram and immediately-and by immediately I mean within 10 minutes-bought it and the first book in the series. And now I am eager to read the third book when it comes out.

This book is so so lovable. Oh my gracious it had me kicking my feet and GIGGLING!! I mean full fledged, hiding in my blanket because I was blushing so hard. The romance here is lovely, the characters blend together so so well, and who doesn’t want a stoic love interest who breaks their stoic-ness for the main character. I mean come on!! It was lovely. Bennet is great, Narcissa was amazing.

This book is a marked improvement from the first in both writing and story lines. Everything fit into place, nothing was utterly jarring, and the read was smooth and consistent.

So, yes this book is lovely and I would recommend it if you’re looking for something light, fun, and happy. Because OOF did I have a great time reading it.
