Where do I start? I enjoyed the writing of this book as much as I enjoyed the story itself. It’s been awhile since I’ve read such a thick book so quickly, and I’m happy about that.

The details all around and of each part of the world made me become rather immersed. Although some might say it is slow, I enjoy the bits of character and plot development when they come just as much as the world building intertwined. I also found myself laughing at certain passages or dialogue as I imagined how it played out like a sort of film inside my head; the irony, wit and comical parts of this book make it just that much more worth picking up.

I don’t think I can rave more about this book. If you’re looking to escape to another world—one of adventure and magic with the odd joke here or there, pick up this one.
