The reviews on this book gave me a feeling of dread before I started. Everyone said it was pointless, long-winded, and rushed.
I'm going to say, I think if you are not a fan of prose or if you're expecting Fitz to come to terms with who he is in the course of one book have no idea what the trilogy was about. I fucking loved this series and this book was the icing on the cake.
So many things happened. Where to start?
I kind of saw Burrich and Molly becoming a couple a mile away... probably around book two? Eh. They're good for one another. Shame, though, that they don't know Fitz is alive.
I freaked out when Nighteyes had is moment where I thought he was going to die, BUT HE LIVED and sired a fucking dragon. Yas. Slay, you amazing wolf.
Disturbing though that Verity used Fitz' body to have sex with Kettrecken and got her pregnant. Ew to the max and ew to Fitz having to know that.
Now... the Fool and Fitz. I can tell that this was the book that solidified in a lot of minds their 'feelings' towards one another. While I can start to ship it, I'm not exactly behind it yet. I need more interaction from the both of them. I love their friendship though. <3
So, here is the thing: if you are looking for character development and a characters self-discovery, then you should read this book. If you not into that, then you're probably going to have problems. I honestly enjoyed this one just like the other two. So my score reflects that.

The Elderlings were dragons!? Shit. That came out of nowhere but now I see there are clues sprinkled here and there throughout the book. And that the creation of a dragon is to put yourself into the dragon and only those with the 'skill' can do so. Like, that is truly crazy. So Verity is now a dragon. How long will he live?
