Collided by Becca Steele

Wow Becca combined 2 of my favorite tropes (enemies to lovers and stepbrothers) to form this epic novel. I was enticed right from the start and proudly read it in one sitting.

The last thing Cole expected was that his mom was going to be marrying her boss. A guy he never knew she was dating. But even worse was that they were going to be moving in with him and his son. Cole may have been nervous, but he was excited and happy for his mom as well. That was until day one when he met his soon to be stepbrother Huxley. Hux is definitely rough around the edges and made Cole's life hell. Huxley even went to the point of moving out just so he didn't have to share a house with him. Until one night changed Huxley for the better. He broke down some of his walls and became vulnerable around Cole. There was something there like a small spark and when he took a chance it exploded into epic fireworks.

Cole and Huxley's story was intense and angsty but at the same time sweet and epic. I loved everything Cole did for Hux and how he helped break down his walls and made him a better person. And I loved how Huxley developed as a character. He was known as "problem child" or a f*** up and didn't know how to handle his emotions well. But when Cole came along, he wanted to be better for him and to prove he can do it. Cole believed in him and cared when it seemed no one else did.

Thank you, Becca Steele and Wordsmith Publicity, for an ARC of Collided. This book is one of my top stepbrother trope reads and I can't wait to read the rest of the series. You "collided" with my heart and I am grateful for the opportunity.
