This has so many plot holes. The ending leaves the reader in a sense of abandonment. I feel like this is not a complete series even though it is. While the abusive aspect has been dropped, many plot holes still seem to show up. I read this entire trilogy in a few days and I feel like nothing even really happened. I mean I still have so many questions, do they get married? do they have kids? are there more "underworlds"? Who are the other "Hades" characters if there is more than one. What happened to the original Hades and Persephone? I just feel like this series tries to cover up those world building questions with a poorly written romance, and a questionable plot.
Overall I am disappointed in this series. I though this would be a fun read based on the other Meg Cabot books I do like. I think this could have been a really great series, its too bad that the author's editing team did not take the time to review this with her before publishing.
