As someone who pretty much never reads historical romance, I went into this a little hesitantly. But wow, this was a PERFECT romance. All of the hype was warranted, and I am in love with these characters. I also especially loved the audio - Nneka Okoye was so impressive as a narrator switching between so many accents! Cannot wait to read the second book.
