Table for Seven by Whitney Gaskell

3.0

This is the first Whitney Gaskell book I have read and I found it quite enjoyable. It focuses around seven characters, two married couples, and three people who are single. I enjoyed all of their stories and found them all very relate-able. The book was a bit heart wrenching at times and yes kind of cliched but I think that is what is so real about their stories. Divorces, death of a spouse, adultery; they all happen in real life.
I did find that the author seemed to drone on with some of the details but all in all it was fairly fast paced. Not a heavy read but something perfect for a day at the beach or pool.
