I'm conflicted
I would've loved to see how Ashira celebrated her birthday after all the hype around Jas' birthday so I was disappointed that it took a back seat to the baby shower. Love kept the angst going and almost in denial in not wanting to admit that it doesn't sound like love mates it sounds toxic but it's truthful. They both met at therapy so that's where I think its a great story because the characters are realistic and complicated. I just wished the storyline was a little clearer because I was confused with the building jargon and Jas' betrayal. I don't know how I feel about the ending...I almost expected more but I am excited to continue reading up to book 3!
