Just excellent. Art style is a lot more cartoonish but it never loses its edge in displaying the harshness of the subject matter. Feels a little overstuffed and the pacing is odd in places, but it’s still an incredibly expressive, emotionally intense/resonant, and a clear example of knowing who ‘Batman’ is as a persona.
