Murdered at 17 by Christine Conradt

5.0

I liked the pacing of this book, we got to see a good portion of Brooke and Jake's tumultuous relationship before the murder took place. It was quite obvious who the murderer was but that wasn't the main focus of the book. It was nice that we got to see Brooke and Maddie as friends before they had their falling out, it made it seem more believable and not just there to further the plot. Overall i really liked this book, I don't have many negative things to say about it other than I'm not sure how realistic it is that Jake isn't quite 21 yet, but he lives alone in a penthouse, goes to fancy restaurants and goes on helicopter rides, but can still blend in with high school students. This is really the only negative I personally found with this book.
