Honestly, I expected this book to be sad. I’ve seen all over social media that this book made people sob hysterically. I never got to that point, but I did tear up a lot and my heart broke for the two main characters. I feel like this book shows how differently people think, how you don’t know exactly what people are truly thinking, how life can happen unexpectedly, the difficulty of loss, all of it. Not my typical genre and I don’t think I’d read it again. But it was very thought provoking and heartbreaking. You come to feel these characters are real and you experience life with them. Just make sure you check those triggers.
