I quite liked this one.
At times the characters felt a bit bland and predictable, but the (admittedly sometimes groan worthy) banter and one liners made up for that.
Our main character, the captain is a women who goes her way, with her very own blend of humour and just won't give in, no matter what. She, and the tone and voice of the book definitely are what kept me well entertained and breezing through the story!
I didn't love it as much as I did Becky Chambers books for example, but for a quick Space Opera between the complex books, it was a fun ride.
