I hate that I've had this sitting on my Kindle for so long, but I couldn't put it down the second I picked it up. The book follows Londyn as she tries to start over again. She just got out of a terrible marriage, and she feels like she wasted a lot of time since she got married so young and stayed even though she was never really in love with her husband. But the real hook for me was that Londyn grew up in a junkyard! She lived there for 2 years in the Cadillac, which she is now using as her excuse to drive from Boston to California because she is searching for Karson so she can give back their car. Plus, she just really wanted to know where he landed. But she ends up in West Virginia, where she meets Brooks, and everything she thought she had planned is turned upside down. It is just such a fun, small-town romance between these two. I couldn't get enough of them, and I hate the miscommunication trope. Still, I can't define it as that. These two were kind of forced together due to needing her car to get fixed, and these two just had an instant connection, and I couldn't get enough of them!
