Most of this information (if not all of it) is available on pottermore outside the form of ebook, however, it was very interesting to see akin stories situated together.
Mcgonagall and Remus are two of my favourite hp characters so the extra information was very much appreciated. Also the information on Slughorn, as well as the history of King's Cross.
