It honestly surprised me how much I loved this book. I can admit that this book is not for everyone, in the fact that not much ever really happens.
This is a very character driven story, and is more a reflection on personal growth and the community around you that you learn to rely on. It's about how the people you let into your life can influence change on both yourself and your aspirations. Maybe this is why I enjoyed it so much, every character and their struggles felt real, and you got to witness their journey.
