Always Never Yours by Emily Wibberley

2.0

I had really high hopes for this one. As somebody who loves theater I was excited this - but it did not live up.

In the beginning I thought I could relate to Megan, every guy she’s every dated has broken up with her for someone else. That hurts, I thought this book would be about her self-discovery and MAYBE finding a sweet boy who deserves her. Instead she continues into her old way and sleeps with the guy the day they officially get together.

I would have loved to see her grow and realize she was using sex as a way to find her worth and validation, but she never does.

The storyline was fine, but I wouldn’t recommend this to any young girls seeing as the main character is the furthest thing from a role model.
