Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom

5.0

Tuesday with Morrie has been an emotional read since it reminded me of someone who is very close to me and still owns a large part of my heart, my grandfather. I found many similarities between Morrie and him, maybe because both of them were teachers or maybe because both of them emits positivity and light or maybe because I love them both.

Morrie, 78 years old, discovered he has been suffering from ALS (this is no spoiler, you will discover it in starting of the book) decided to teach his favourite student Mitch the lessons about life, lessons about greed, happiness, money, emotions, regret and so on.

Turning each and every page was difficult for me since to see Morrie, degrading health day after day but the way he embraced and accepted his death was so heartwarming. In this world of materialistic possession, this book will bring you closer to life and simplicity.

indeed, my one of my favourite books so far!
