This is the best memoir I’ve read in a long time. Jennette McCurdy shows her depth of character and her writing acumen as she guides readers through a series of vignettes that all make up the bigger picture of a life stolen and reclaimed. Mostly heartbreaking but also raucously funny, this is maybe the most transparent window we have into the realm of child stardom - and McCurdy never once shies away from anything short of brutal honesty. Recommending this to literally everyone I know!
