This is very much more a female rage book than a realistic way to handle sexism back in the 1960s. So I loved it but also felt out of touch with the character and frustrated that they weren’t appropriate ways to respond to smaller grievances even here 65 years later. Which is a very personal response to my own triggers so 🤷🏻‍♀️. But everything came together throughout the book beautifully and I definitely cried a bit at the end.
