This is a reread and I liked this much better the second time. I found Celaena/Aelin to be annoying and insufferable in the first two books, and she got better in AB but this book makes me like her better. It was interesting and dramatic and had good action. My only complaint is that I feel like we were spoon fed some of the info at the end, like about Athril and conclusions Aelin came to about Maeve. It was a lot piled on and Aelin just “figured it out” okay.
