 3.5 stars again for an interesting story, but something still feels off. I don't know quite how to put it into words. The resolutions of most conflicts in this series feel almost too easy or abrupt. There's so much lead-up to several encounters in this book, and then the issues are resolved in a blink, or a new issue is created that overshadows what was happening in the beginning. It makes this whole series read like a soap opera. Nothing gets resolved, it just gets worse and different.

I'll probably read the next one because Niamh is my favorite and they've done her real dirty in this one.
