Scoring Grey: A Hockey Romance by L.A. Ferro
5.0
I love this book so much, I finished it with having a special place in my heart. Second Chance Romances are my absolute favorite trope. Callum is adorably relatable to at least one person we've known in real life. There is intrigue, mystery, funny anecdotes, warm and fuzzy feelings and as you read, you fall in love with the characters themselves.
Meeting when they were freshmen in high school led them to fall in love. Callum's father does not life Eloise one bit. On the night the hockey team won big, Callum decided to throw a party because his father was out of town on business.. or he was supposed to be. Eloise ran into him on her way to speak with Callum about a very important detail, however, She was threatened to stay quiet by his father. From there; the relationship between Callum and Eloise became very strained and they broke up. Callum spends the next 6 years visiting her off and on. Finally after having been signed to a professional team, he invites her to the city he plays for to see if they can give their relationship a real start.
what was the important news she was going to tell him? Can they make it work? Do they still love each other like they did in high school?
