Beverly Jenkins is the queen of historical romance. I love her writing and obsessed with all of it. I’ve said it before that I love how she writes the intimacy between the two main characters. The men she writes are true leaders and protectors. The women are submissive and strong. I say submissive as they do have their own minds but not afraid to take direction from a man. The women today most likely would not do what these women are doing in this story, just saying.
Colt Lee and Regan Carmichael definitely met in person hilariously. But that let us know how passionately these two would be. I loved this story so much. Loved the history noted and loved the suspense in it. Lovvve B Jenkins!,,
