The Warded Man by Peter V. Brett

4.0

Attack on Titan meets Game of Thrones, that is the elevator pitch I would use for Peter V. Brett's, The Warded Man.

The night is not safe, as demon's stalk the night. Towns and villages must band together to survive this onslaught. The danger is so real, that traveling from one city to another is usually a death sentence.

I found this book to be incredible from the first moment every single thing, from the world building to the characters to the plot was incredibly fascinating.

I did feel like it jumped the shark towards the end, where the main character got way overpowered off screen. In my opinion it also featured the worst-timed sex scene of all time.

Other than those grapes I found the worded meant to be very compelling and engaging to read.
