Story was okay, pretty interesting. But the sheer ablism and depictions of autism was astounding. Particularly as the author has an autistic son. No refuting the harmful stereotypes, simply comparing them to robots with no humanity or empathy. Really could've had a better discussion regarding ABA. Done sloppily and harmfully.
