I've read this book twice in a month somebody else read it, please!
One of the most, simple lyrical and mesmerizing books I have ever read. I started rereading it two days later which I almost never do, I'm torn between wanting a sequel, or prequel for more world building and being worried that will ruin the beauty of the metaphorical interpretation of it. I would be curious to see if other people who read a lot of kid/teen literature think it's one of those middle-grade novels that seems to be written to appeal to adults more than kids because it is so lyrical and metaphorical, but I think kids can grasp more than they're given credit for too
