The Fae & The Fallen by Brittni Chenelle

3.0

3.5 stars: This series feels like watching a fantasy shoujo anime

I was pleasantly surprised by this YA Fae Fantasy Book. I discovered this series for free on YouTube (the author has uploaded the whole series), and I really enjoyed it.

The story takes place in an Academy, where only People with special abilities can attend. Their goal is to become Fae and protect the world.
But not everything is what it seems...

The first half hour of the book gave me bully romance vibes, but it didn't turn into one.
I really liked the POV of Reina and Kai. Both struggle differently, have mixed feelings towards each other, but still rely on one another.

The Romance aspect of the story is not the complete focus here, but still present. There is much room to grow, tough. And I hope we'll get that in the other books.
