This book had some laugh out loud moments but definitely reads like dexter meets romcom with a LOT of spice. Much more than  I was expecting tbh lol. The story starts off strong with the Dexter vibe but kind of abandons it halfway through to show the characters as also normal people. The plot was kinda all over the place. There’s a twist at the end that’s kinda random but resolves itself. The story also mentioned some other characters I know will be getting their own books.

Now, here’s the big thing. I loved the duet POV narration style and the narrators did a great job bringing the story to life; but only after finishing did I discover the misconduct activity surrounding the male narrator and his production company. And now I realize this audiobook has been (rightfully) pulled from a lot of streaming services. If I choose to reread this, I’ll be reading the physical copy instead.
