In regency England, Rose is a con woman & has been most of her life. All alone with no family, sending most of her earnings to an orphanage she set up to protect kids from being on the streets. Rose gets her next job and ends up on the door step of Carver.
Carver knows right away that he is not who Rose is looking for, but what could be more fun than playing a con-woman.
Such a cute read. I flew through this one and can't wait to grab the next. I loved the characters and the storyline.  I enjoyed the banter and Rose's fire and independence. Imagine a woman capable of doing things on her own & in a dress.
