The Wasp Factory by Iain Banks

2.0

not for me. unnecessarily violent for the shock factor of it all, though Banks does write with great detail and description. most of all, i just couldn't get behind Frank as a character -- he speaks and acts like a teenager, reflects and questions like an adult, and murders and plots like a typical movie-esque psychopath. i just don't get the point of the novel and it became less and less fun to read as time went on.
