A Princess of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs

3.0

This was a satisfactory adventure. The writing got a little bland, but I enjoyed the descriptions of Martian wildlife and developed a fondness to the wooly dog-like creature in the book. This reads a little like male fantasy fulfillment because the protagonist is physically superior to everyone else around him. It lends itself very well to being made into an action-packed movie, which I suppose is why they're making one now.
