challenging dark emotional reflective sad medium-paced

i don't quite know how to rate a book that is a retelling of someone's life but i will say, this is the first audiobook i have fully listened to ever, and I don't think I would've gotten the same experience reading this on my own, as hearing McCurdy bring all the voices to life.
