The Grumpy Player Next Door by Pippa Grant

4.0

During the baseball off season Max decides to stay in the hometown of his best friend Cooper. He’s rented a house, that just so happens to be next door to Cooper’s sister Tillie Jean.

Tillie Jean loves to flirt with Max even if just to piss off her brother. Though she has been half in love with him for the last four year. He may appear to be grouchy to an outsider but deep down she can see all the little things he does for others, making her want to be better.

In this sleepy town you not only have a cast of characters you have a cussing Parrot for a mascot, and Goatstradamus the goat who interrupts make out sessions.

While Max is struggling to remember all the reasons he can’t date Tillie Jean, including his panic attacks, and not losing his best friend, he can’t help fall for the way Tillie Jean makes him feel.

This will make you laugh, sad for Max and his childhood, blush for Max and all the ways he doesn’t like to wear clothes, keep you laughing at the ultimate glitter pranks that Tillie and her brother pull on each other, and swoon for the hot shower sex!
