The science is great, the author clearly has a deep understanding of physics and really did his research, but it reads like a textbook. Seriously. Calling the characters one dimensional would be too generous, they are flat flat flat as can be. And the ending was so anticlimactic, it really didn’t make me care enough to keep reading the series right now.
