Crêpe Expectations by Sarah Fox

3.0

People poisoned at an amateur chef competition and the discovery of an old skeleton give Marley something to keep herself busier than normal. I like how new characters, that could be recurring, along with the foundational characters continue to evolve. I am getting weary of older crimes being uncovered. Seems rather repetitive from the previous book in the series and makes you wonder if Ms. Fox is already running out of ideas. What hasn't gotten repetitive is the yummy creations that are served up at the Flip Side and the relationship between Marley and Brett.

Thanks to NetGalley and Kensington Books for a copy of the book. This review is my own opinion.
