Thought about rating it a tiny bit lower but I had a very fun time with this and might have enjoyed it a little less than I otherwise did because I had an awful migraine the entire time. But it also has me invested enough to read the entire thing while feeling like death because of said migraine, so that must mean something.

Hunter and Edin both aren't my favorites (I knew they wouldn't be going in) but I like their romance and dynamic and they're both very fun characters. Charlie also isn't my favorite and I'm not sure how I'll feel about his book.

Getting more of Danny and Wyn was wonderful. Especially when we got to see Wyn from a pov that wasn't Danny's (with Wyn being all cuddly over him). Mean, overprotective Wyn is a blessing upon this earth.

I continue to like the world this is set in, though I feel like I got less details on it this time around other than a handful of monster names and vague descriptions. It was good, though. I continue to like how this series handles the military.

I'm really interested in seeing more about Cat and feel like I know a little of how that's going to go. So that's exciting.

The next book in the series I'm very interested in, so that's also a plus.
