After a rewatch of the movie, I decided, "What the heck, I should read the book." Now, I didn't hate the book, but I think I prefer the movie over it. (which is a first for me) I was pretty engaged throughout the first half, and then it kind of fizzled out towards the end. It felt almost drawn out. It might be because I already loosely knew what would happen, though based on what the movie portrayed. 

All in all, it's not a bad book, but I'm not sure if I'd continue on and read the others in the series.
