Dancing Days by Sue Bentley

3.0

Once again Arrow's meadow is facing the threat of the impending dark bunny war on magic.

In this instalment, Arrow helps recently injured Sara overcome her disappointment in missing out dance tryouts and rooting for her friend's continued participation to compete. In turn, Sara introduces Arrow to the wonders of pizza and technological advancements such as laptops, the Internet and YouTube.

Perhaps it is meant to foreshadow things to come, or meant to be a trick of light, but Arrow sees the approaching shadow of a dark bunny in the YouTube dance video and promptly freaks out (as to be expected).

What could the shadow mean? Is the dark bunny war breaking through the barriers of other universes? In place of a magical key and magical meadow, do the dark bunnies use human technology to impose their will? What does this mean for Arrow? Can he no longer hide disguised as tinier and plainer bunnies behind his human friends? Will Arrow ever transform into a cute Holland Lop or will Lops keep getting shafted?

On an important side note, this book is actually number 3 in the series, rather than 5.
