The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka

i read this one in a family trip to santorini. the white houses with their blue-blazing domes, the santorinian-setting, vacation-time-mark, was perhaps more fitting with other works of kafka, displaying the kafkist-style more bluntly, but of course i did not know it back when i started. oh well, can't a cynical bastard all of the time, right?
