Absolutely loved this book, the author is an incredibly talented storyteller.

The books deals with topics like bullying, child neglect and the Japanese societal pressures and the consequences of those things specially for young kids and teenagers. It's short and quite fast paced and the way that it's structured makes the story even more interesting. The main incident and details are revealed right in the first chapter, the each of the other chapters are the POV of other characters that were directly or indirectly involved, revealing their side of it, more details of what actually happened, as well as the consequences they had to face.
Very satisfying ending too.
