Lost Lake by Sarah Addison Allen
5.0
Every Sarah Addison Allen book is full of savory sentences and whimsy, and Lost Lake does not disappoint. So lush I fanned myself against the humidity, so real I felt like I knew the characters, and just magical enough to keep me on my toes, this book brought me to places where hope insisted on planting its feet and wouldn't let go. A lovely read about life, grief, and misfits finding their place, as expected. (Women's fiction, contemporary women, magical realism, fantasy)
