The Devourers by Indra Das
4.25
This book genuinely transfixed me. I feel like I’m coming out of hypnosis. The storytelling was so compelling, helped along by the writing style. The experience was visceral, even a little TOO gory for me personally.
I also wished that the two different stories had been a bit more intermingled—big chunks of one story just left me missing the other.
