Steven was a successful realtor that didn’t take himself too seriously, loved to take risks and make people laugh. When he realizes his connection to Rachel, a Holocaust survivor who recently passed away, it sends him on a quest to find the treasure that holds much more than wealth.

Overall, I liked this story. It started out a bit slow but 50 pages in, I was my interest grew. The story started taking shape as the dual timelines were connected.

I enjoyed the suspense and the deep bonds felt between all of the characters in their perspective timelines. The pace of the story was good throughout with a few exceptions. The romance plotline between Steven and Esther was a bit too fairytale like and was unnecessary.
