The Blind Watchmaker: Why the Evidence of Evolution Reveals a Universe Without Design by Richard Dawkins

adventurous challenging informative slow-paced

4.0

Another amazing book by Richard Dawkins, it's an easier read than The Selfish Gene but still an adventure! I love how he explains difficult subjects with such eloquence, Dawkins has a distinct writing style that I personally like; especially in a science book since difficult subjects tend to make me really sleepy and easily distracted, he makes it less boring for me. Although there were some parts that I found difficult to get through, and there were some parts that I found odd (like how he often uses Biblical characters in his analogies, I don't hate it but I'm just like??? Okay then Mr. Sunday School Teacher), but overall it was still a good read and I learned a lot from this book. Evolution has been a subject that I've been really interested in for a while now, so reading another book by Dawkins will always be a delight and I'm very much looking forward to reading his other books, especially The Greatest Show on Earth and The Ancestor's Tale.
