ithan and tharion are fucking unbearable i don’t care about them at ALL. the build up to
ithan being prime
felt very lackluster and maybe it’s because idc about him but he’s unlikable!! this series as a whole felt like sum tried to bite off WAYYYY more than she could chew, leaving it feeling very half-baked. also for
them getting the antidote and suddenly can use their fae powers like it’s nothing???
DONT PISS ME OFFFF!!!!! i like the tie in to tog and i can’t wait to see how that unfurls, and i love the connection between nesta and ember but so much of the book was building up to the final battle and it was very boring. sjm stop the mc-dies-in-the-big-war-only-to-be-brought-back-by-the-community tope im fucking begging you genuinely. it’s so weird bc there are pieces of the series that i absolutely love and i did devour the books but like, jesus lord. if i didn’t know better i would’ve thought this was her debut series and not tog
