This anthology was a classic case of it's not you, it's me.
While I know that this is a YA romance anthology, I didn't realize that every one of the stories was set in high school. I like YA, but I typically read fantasy or sci-fi YA or maybe even historical, but not modern high school.
There were some really cute stories (and lots of queer ones!) but I was off-put by reading about fourteen 16-year olds in high school in a row. To be fair, there were one or two that weren't actually set in high school (The Way We Love Here was speculative fiction as was The Department of Dead Love).
However! If you like cute YA stories set in high school (especially ones with lesbians in them), then you will love this anthology!
